Keelie’s energy nugget balls

Next time you see Kellie Knapp (a.k.a. “Keelie”) in one of your classes give her a high-five for this awesome recipe! These are a great pre-workout snack on those days when your tummy just won’t stop grumbling before class, but its too late to have a big snack. They are also an awesome pick-me-up, post workout treat. Sorry folks, I’m not even going to try to call these bad boys paleo. Here is the recipe:

Ingredients:

1 c dry oatmeal

1/2 c ground flax seed

1/3 c honey

1/2 c chocolate chips

1/2 c peanut butter

1 tsp vanilla

Mix all of the ingredients together, roll into bite size balls, refrigerate, and enjoy!
