The New Mexico Games is a weightlifting meet that will be held at the UNM Olympic Sports Weight Room. Our very own, Mitch McClune, will be lifting on Sunday, June 4th at 12:30pm. May 27th we will be participating in the Melissa Memorial WOD in honor of Becky Freeman's mother.
Melissa, Becky's mother, passed away last year in May from PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy), an uncommon brain disorder that affects movement, control of walking (gait) and balance, speech, swallowing, vision, mood and behavior, and thinking.
May is also PSP Awareness Month. Becky and her sister, are making strides to create a bigger impact on awareness month in May for PSP and fundraising for research for a cure, here in ABQ.
Held at the historic Albuquerque Railyards, this competition will test all levels of functional fitness over the course of 3 days.
Masters (40+) and Elite will be individual competitors, RX will be same sex teams, and Scaled are co-ed teams.
This Memorial Day we will be doing Murph, as we do every year. We will only have 3 classes doing Murph at 6am, 9am, and 12pm. There will be no Open Gym this day, so please try to make it in to one of the scheduled class times.
If you would like to wear a wighted vest, please bring your own from home or find a friend's to borrow.

Join us for an all ladies WOD! Bring your friends and family who are interested in trying CrossFit. This will be an h'ordeuvre potluck and we will be raising in-kind donations for All Faiths Receiving Home. Work on your basic gymnastics skills in this clinic. From kipping pull-ups to handstand push-ups to muscle ups, our coaches will help you develop the necessary foundation to help you eventually master these movements.
Join the CFABQ coaches for a gymnastics clinic to work on your kipping or butterfly pull-ups, handstands, handstand push-ups, muscle-up progressions and muscle-ups. This will be a hands on clinic free to CFABQ members.

Whitney’s next Boot Camp session begins Tuesday May 28th @5am. Boot Camp is an 8 week program that meets 2x/week (Tues/Thurs) and is the perfect introduction into Crossfit. Over the course of the 8 weeks you will develop strength and conditioning fundamentals and work your way up in difficulty as the session progresses. The classes are designed with beginners in mind, and can accommodate any and all fitness levels. The atmosphere is low key and aimed towards building the skills and fitness to advance quickly and build confidence.
